Mr. William Bobby “Little Fox” Barksdale, 59, of Barnett Highway in Brewton, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at an Atmore nursing facility after an extended illness.

He was a native of Ohatchee, and had lived most of his life in Escambia County, Alabama. He worked in the logging industry during his working years and he was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lois Barksdale; and a brother, Herman Eugene Barksdale.

He is survived by a son, Bobby Lee Barksdale of Brewton; a daughter, Samantha Barksdale of Brewton; two sisters, Loraine (Buddy) Kimmons of Brewton, and Faye (Donald) Dykes of Jay, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Monday, March 7, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial followed in Pine Level Cemetery.
