TRM cross country runs Gulf Coast Stampede race

At the Gulf Coast Stampede Saturday hosted by West Florida Tech High School at the Escambia County Equestrian Center, the T.R. Miller girls cross country team placed seventh while the boys placed 21st.
The Lady Tigers placed seventh out of 25 teams while the boys placed 21st out of 28 teams.
For the Lady Tigers, Karisa Nelson places second out of 203 runners and Allie Nelson placed 14th. Karisa ran a time of 18:40.40 and Allie had a time of 20:14.30.
Amber Nelson’s time of 21:58.10 earned her a 53rd place finish and Breann Huff ran a time of 23:02.20 for an 88th place finish.
Katie Baggett came in 95th place with a time of 23:16.10 and Katie Nelson placed 96th with a time of 23:20.20.
Hannah Blair placed 146th with a time of 25:32.60 and Taylor Guthrie placed 156th with a time of 26:02.80. Morgan Rowell’s time of 26:20.20 earned her a place of 164th and Ashley Daugherty ran a time of 27:18.70 for 178th place.
In the boys race, a race that saw 229 runners, Rob Stokes led T.R. Miller with a time of 17:24.40 for 43rd place and Andrew Pollitte had a time of 18:46.30 for a 102nd place finish.
Ryan Snowden placed 166th with a time of 19:58.90 and Carter Frezell had a time of 20:57.20 for 191st place.
Ramon Castro had time of 21:29.90 for a 200th place and John West had a 206th place finish and a time of 22:10.90.
D’Angelo Thomas and Stewart Campbell placed 217th and 221st with times of 23:20.10 and 23:47.20.
In the boys JV race, Nash Diercks placed 157th out of 178 runners with a time of 24:50.70. Travis Carlson placed 165th with a time of 26:21.30. Austin Rowell had a time of 27:44.30 for a 171st place and Christopher Guthrie placed 172nd with a time of 29:55.40.
