Gloria Nell Roby Willis

Mrs. Gloria Nell Roby Willis, 73, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 in a Baldwin County medical facility after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Brewton, and a long time resident of Baldwin County. She was of the Community of Christ faith, a member of the American Legion, a member of the Senior Circle in Foley, and a 1956 graduate of T.R. Miller High School.
She was a retired telephone operator from Gulf Telephone Company with 14 years of service and she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Calvert.
She is survived by a special friend, Raymond Browder of Brewton; a son, Tim Calvert of Pensacola; a daughter, Cindy (Roger) Hayes of Robertsdale; a brother, Cliff Roby of Pensacola; a sister, June White of Crestview, Fla,; two grandchildren, April Hayes and Kenny Hayes; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Hayes, Haley Hayes and Alyssa Hayes.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Speaker Yvonne Harrell officiating. Burial followed at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
