BR all-star teams to play here starting Friday

There have been some changes made to the all-star schedules for the Brewton Babe Ruth teams.
The 14-year-old tournament will now be held Friday in Brewton with games starting at 6 p.m. at T.R. Miller High School.
Brewton and Monroe will play Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. in a best two-of-three series. A game will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. if needed.
The 13-year-old Babe Ruth tournament will also be held in Brewton Friday. Brewton will play Monroe at 8 p.m. Friday. The tournament will resume Saturday with the Brewton/Monroe winner taking on Atmore at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the loser from Friday’s Brewton/Monroe game will take on the loser of Saturday’s game at a time to be announced later.
The championship game will be held Monday at 5:30 p.m. with the “if needed” game set for 7:30 p.m.
