Mr. John Allen Evers, 39, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 in Monroeville. He was a native of Escambia County, a former resident of Monroe County, and a resident of Brewton. He attended Ridge Road Baptist Church and was a mechanic with Peach-Ford. He was preceded in death by his mother, Toni Elaine Evers.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Parker Evers of Brewton; two sons, Jacob Allen Evers and Dylan Alexander Evers, both of Brewton; two daughters, Toni Marie Evers of Excel and Ceceila Andrea Evers of Brewton; his father, Ronnie Evers of Monroeville; three brothers, Ron Evers Jr., Blake Evers and Hunter Evers, all of Monroeville; a sister, Harley Evers of Monroeville; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Bermuda United Methodist Church with Pastor Lee Cadenhead and the Rev. Ryan Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Bermuda Community Cemetery with Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
