JDCC volleyball gets conference win over Southern Union

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team swept Southern Union Friday night at home to pick up a conference win.
JDCC defeated Southern Union 3-0 to improve to 4-9 overall and to 2-3 in conference play.
JDCC won set one 25-21, set two 25-14 and set two 25-21.
In the win over Southern Union, Ki Ki Youngblood led with nine kills and Tara Gafford had 16 total attacks and four service aces. Sarah Litteken led with nine digs and Gafford and Jennifer Daniels had two solo blocks each.
JDCC was scheduled to play at Gadsden State Tuesday when they took on Gadsden and Sneads. JDCC will host Gadsden Thursday at 6 p.m.
