Margaret Louise Campbell Gandy

Ms. Margaret Louise Campbell  Gandy, 73, of Molino, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. She was a native and former resident of Century and a resident of Molino for the past 10 years. She was the owner of Gandy’s Ambulance Service and had worked with the Escambia County Emergency  Services as a supervisor and coordinator. She had, more recently, been the owner of Gandy’s Nursery and Landscaping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Katie Campbell; her brothers, Dennis and Cornelius Campbell; and her children, Troy Gandy and Dianne Salter.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie (Roger) Burkett of Century; a son, Robert (Yvette) Gandy of Berrydale, Fla.; brothers, Billy (Faye) Campbell of Pensacola, Fla. and James (Velda) Campbell of Century; a sister, Dorthy Johnson of Century; ten grandchildren, Patrick (Cara) Salter of Milton, Fla.,  Maunica (Will) Williams, Jeremy (Monica) Grimes, and Javis Grimes, of Century, Mikey (Robbie Lynn) Burkett of Flomaton, Carlyn (Wesley) Salter. Kennedy Salter and Joy (Justin) White, all of Jay, Megan (Anthony) Golden, Jared Gandy and Philip Gandy, all of Berrydale; 11 great-grandchildren and other friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at Berrydale Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at McCurdy Cemetery in Century with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
