Middle school basketball to begin soon for BMS and WSNMS

The start of basketball season is just around the corner as the Brewton Middle School team will be the first area team to start their season Tuesday, Oct. 23.
W.S. Neal Middle School will begin their season Thursday, Nov. 1.
Here is the schedule for both local middle schools.

BMS:
The Brewton Middle School basketball team will begin their 2012 season Tuesday, Oct. 23 on the road at Lyeffion.
The schedule for Brewton shows 10 games with five home games and five away games.
The Tigers will play Lyeffion, Repton, W.S. Neal, Andalusia and McCall this season with one game being at home and one on the road.
Gerald McAnally is the boys and girls coach this season.

• Tuesday, Oct. 23, Lyeffion, Away, 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 30, Repton, Away, 4:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 1, W.S. Neal, Home, 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, Nov. 6, W.S. Neal, Away, 4 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 8, Andalusia, Away, 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, Nov. 13, McCall, Away, 6 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 15, Repton, Home, 5 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 29, Lyeffion, Home, 5 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 3, McCall, Home, 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 4, Andalusia, Home, 5 p.m.

WSNMS:
The W.S. Neal Middle School basketball team will begin their 2012 season Thursday, Nov. 1 on the road at Brewton Middle School.
The schedule for W.S. Neal shows eight games with four home games and four away games.
The Eagles will play Brewton, Flomaton, McCall and Jay this season with one game being at home and one on the road.
Ray Patterson is the boys coach while Adrienne Johnson will serve as the girls coach this season.

• Tuesday, Nov. 6, Brewton, Home, 4 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 8, Flomaton, Away, 4 p.m.

• Wednesday, Nov. 28, Jay, Away, 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 4, McCall, Home, 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Dec. 5, Jay, Home, 3 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 10, Flomaton, Home, 3 p.m.
