Mary Magdelene Roberson

Mrs. Mary Magdalene Roberson, 89, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Brewton. She was a native of Moyeville, and a resident of Brewton, for the past 26 years. She was the oldest member of Moyeville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roberson; her parents, Dee and Julia Moye; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by a son, Aubrey (Pug) Roberson of Poarch; a daughter, Mattie Robbins of Brewton; a sister, Lucille Roberson of Pensacola; five grandchildren, Angela (Tony) Gresham, Kim Forbus, Marlene (David) McNairn, James Roberson and Chad Robbins; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 16, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Ward officiating. Burial followed at Traveler’s Rest Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were James Roberson, Chad Robbins, Ronald Burkett, Jason Forbus, Justin Forbus and Reece McNairn. Honorary Pallbearers were Drake Robbins, Micah McNairn and Payton Robbins.
