Brewton police said they used an undercover investigation to nab what they called a “street level dealer” Tuesday.

Lavarius Bell, 32, of Brewton was arrested by Brewton Police Department narcotics agents on charges of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance; two counts of unlawful posession of a controled substance; and unlawful possession of marijuana.

“Agents conducted an investigation and were able to purchase crack cocaine from Bell on separate occasions,” Lt. Brock Holt said.

Bell was still being held at the Escambia County jail Wednesday on $60,000 bond.
