Laura Mildred ‘Bill’ Dismukes

Mrs. Laura Milderd “Bill” Dismukes, 96, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a native of Elloree, South Carolina and a resident of Brewton for the past 13 years coming from Columbus, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Brewton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ernest Dismukes Jr.
She is survived by a son, Robert E. (Martha B.) Dismukes, III of Brewton; a daughter, Laura D.(Gary) Gintzig of Georgia; two grandchildren, Beth (Dexter) Evans of LaGrange, Ga, and Samantha Dismukes of Spanish Fort; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stepehens Episcopal Church with the  Rob Dixon officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
