Mr. Paul Wesley Murphy, 64, of Shoffner Street in East Brewton died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2012 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Escambia County and a lifetime resident of East Brewton. He was a foreman in the treating division at T.R. Miller Mill Company with 36 years of service, a member of the Elim Baptist Church and a mason at Dean Lodge 112.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Callie Me Murphy; a brother, James Murphy; and a sister, Jackie Murphy.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon Lindsey Murphy of East Brewton; two sons, Wesley (Rebecca) Murphy and Chad (Georgia) Murphy, both of East Brewton; a daughter, Paula (Joey) Shultz of Brewton; two brothers, Billy (Catherine) Murphy of Brewton and Larry (Paula Jean) Murphy of Flomaton; one sister, Wanda (Russ) Griffin of Brewton; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Delacruz, Joseph Shultz, Dakota Shultz, Brewer Murphy, Brea Murphy, Paul Murphy and Brittany Bauer; five great-grandchildren, Krystin Hammac, Callie Delacruz, Audrianna Delacruz, Jayden Shultz and Bailey McCall.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. at Elim Church with the Rev. Ron Headley and the Rev. Jason Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Elim Cemetery in the Roberts Community with Williams memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
