BPD to continue patrols through New Year holiday

Brewton Police Department officers, as well as law enforcement officers across the state, are continuing holiday patrols through Jan. 1, 2013 in an effort to keep roads and highways safe for holiday travelers.
As part of the “Click It or Ticket” iniative, officers with Brewton Police will be on an increased patroll assignment until the holiday period ends at midnight Jan. 1.
“We will be watching by patrol throughout Brewton’s city limits for violators of our speed limits, seatbelt laws and DUI drivers, Brewton Sgt. Bryan Davis said. “We want everyone to have a safe holiday season in Brewton.
