JDCC basketball drops eighth straight

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team saw their losing streak hit eight straight losses as they fell to 1-19 overall and to 1-9 in conference play with an 86-74 loss Thursday at Chattahoochee Valley.
JDCC was outscored 43-36 in the first half and 43-38 in the second half to suffer the 12-point loss.
Chris Oden had 23 points in the loss and Corderrio Hasewood had 11. Adrian Rich finished with 10 points followed by Antony Bell with nine, Devonte Pope and Fletcher Forte with eight points each and Matt Bass chipped in five points. No other stats or information from the game was known as of press time.
JDCC will return to the court Monday when they return home to face Enterprise at 7 p.m. The Warhawks will play at Bishop State on Thursday, Feb. 21 and at Faulkner on Monday, Feb. 25. Both games are 7 p.m. The games will be the final two road games of the season for the Warhawks.
JDCC will play their final home and regular season game of the year Thursday, Feb. 28 when they take on Wallace-Selma. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
