East Brewton police arrested a local woman Thursday afternoon in connection with an investigation into illegal drug activity in the city recently.

Amber Hall was taken into custody around 3 p.m. Thursday and charged with obstruction of justice stemming from a case currently under investigation involving a drug bust Feb. 8.

East Brewton police executed a search warrant on the Ridge Road home of Darren Green on the evening of Feb. 8 confiscating a record amount of cocaine, cash and other drugs at the residence.

Green managed to elude officers at the scene and has been on the lam since the bust took place, police said.

Officials also say Hall was driving a vehicle registered to Green at the time of the arrest. No other details of the arrest were available Thursday afternoon.
