Spring Fly-In event today

If touring through an airport filled with flying machines of every description sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday, today may be your lucky day.
The City of Brewton Municipal Airport and the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is co-sponoring the fourth annual Spring Fly-In event today beginning at 9 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m., according to organizers of the event.
Included in the annual event will be a car show sponsored by Cruisers Unlimited. A motorcycle show and ride is also planned for the day.
Kiwanis Club members and Angel Food Concessions will be cooking up hamburgers, sausage dogs, chips, drinks and the ever-popular funnel cakes.
There will be a special kids area which will include pony rides, a petting zoo and inflatable activities.
Demonstrations will include remote controlled planes, parachutes, tail draggers, choppers and more.
All activities and demonstrations are free of charge with nominal fees for rides and concessions.
