WSN football’s Saturday jamboree sees schedule change

The W.S. Neal Eagle football team will complete their 2013 spring training period with a five-team jamboree on Saturday, May 18, at W.S. Neal Stadium in East Brewton—and the schedule of Saturday’s events has been revised.
Hillcrest, Linden, Northview and Andalusia will still be the teams joining the Eagles of East Brewton in the jamboree. All teams will play two games each.
Andalusia’s two opponents will be Northview and W.S. Neal while Northview’s opponents will be Andalusia and Hillcrest.
W.S. Neal will meet Andalusia and Linden. Hillcrest will meet Northview and Linden while Linden will meet W.S. Neal and Hillcrest.
The jamboree will begin at 1 p.m. with Andalusia and Northview meeting followed by W.S. Neal and Andalusia at 1:50 p.m. Andalusia will be home in the 1 p.m. game against Northview and the 1:50 p.m. game against W.S. Neal.
At 2:40 p.m., Hillcrest and Northview will square off while Linden and W.S. Neal will meet at 3:30 p.m. Hillcrest will be the home team in the 2:40 p.m. game while W.S. Neal will be home at 3:30 p.m.
At 4:20 p.m., the jamboree will conclude with Hillcrest meeting Linden with Hillcrest being the home team.
Admission is $5.
