Mrs. Audrey Marie Hart Drummond, 71, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Brewton, and a former resident of Houston, Texas, before moving back to Brewton in 1997. She was of the Baptist faith, a retired supervisor from Wicks and Sticks in Houston, and former owner/operator of the Annie Hall Laundry Mat in East Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, George B. Drummond of Brewton; three sons, Eric Smith, Randy Smith and Mark Drummond, all of Houston; two daughters, Meredith A. Drummond of Harlingen, Texas and
Deidre Ann Drummond Russell of Houston; a sister, Ginger Hise of Mobile; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Day officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Condolences may be sent and obituaries can be read at williamsmemorialchapel.com.
