WSN volleyball to play in Flomaton Tuesday and Wednesday

Fresh off a two-day performance at their summer volleyball tournament in Jay last week, the W.S. Neal Lady Eagle volleyball team will hit the courts for two more days this coming week in Flomaton.
On Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31, W.S. Neal will be joined by nine other teams in the Flomaton Summer Bash Volleyball Tournament.
Along with W.S. Neal at the tournament will be Baker JV, Baldwin County JV, Baker varsity, Central, Baldwin County varsity, Flomaton, Jay, Atmore and Northview.
Tourney games will be played at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. with games also starting at noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Games will be played on courts A and B in the new gym at Flomaton and on court C in the PE gym at Flomaton.
Games Wednesday will follow the same format as Tuesday with games ending an hour earlier at 2 p.m.
The format of the games will be best two-of-three with games one and two going two 25 points while the third game, if necessary, will be played to 15.
The Lady Eagles will have four games on Tuesday and three on Wednesday for a total of seven games over the two-day tournament.
Counting Tuesday and Wednesday’s games at Jay, W.S. Neal will have played 13 games in nine days.
W.S. Neal will play at 10 a.m. Tuesday against Jay, at noon against Central, at 1 p.m. against Baker JV and at 3 p.m. against Northview.
Wednesday’s games for W.S. Neal will see them play at 11 a.m. against Baldwin County, noon against Flomaton, and at 2 p.m. against Baldwin County JV.
