Mrs. Rhonelda Jean Robinson Blackburn, 70, of Juniper Creek Drive, died Monday, August 5, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Brewton First Baptist Church, a 1961 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, the former kitchen cordinator at the Brewton First Baptist Church, and owner/operator of Southern Heirlooms.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Carlton Blackburn Sr. of Brewton; a son, Joseph Carlton (Robin) Blackburn Jr. of Brewton; three daughters, Carla Blackburn (Joey) Turner, Wendy Blackburn (Rich) McConaughy, and Jody Blackburn, all of Brewton; her grandchildren, Joseph (Lexie) Turner, Mary Catherine Turner, Emily Harris, Molly McConaughy, Sadie McConaughy, Michael (Morgan) Booker, Karlyn Hutchins, Hillary  Blackburn, Bonnie Blackburn, Josie Blackburn, Joseph Blackburn, and Gracie Blackburn
Visitation will be held Friday August 9, from 9:30 until 11 a.m. at The Brewton First Baptist Church of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 9, at 11 a.m. at the Brewton First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Finklea, and the Rev. Ron Headley officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
