Work being conducted by utility employees for the City of Brewton could result in some low water pressure issues over the next few days, city officials said.

Utilities Director Ray Madden said water well testing could cause residents in the north side of the city to experience low water pressure.

The testing is expected to be ongoing from Monday through Wednesday, Madden said.

Workers will be working to maintain the pressure through the use of remaining wells that serve the area.

Madden said the work will be done as quickly as possible to minimize any water pressure issues for the residents in the area.
