JDCC volleyball to start season Monday at home

The 2013 version of the Jefferson Davis Community College volleyball team, under the direction of first-year head coach Allen Gainer, will tip off their season Monday, Aug. 26 with a home game at 6 p.m.
The schedule for JDCC this season shows 19 total games. JDCC will play 10 home games and nine away games.
The Lady Warhawks will have 14 conference games against seven conference foes. Conference opponents for JDCC this year include Wallace-State, Snead, Faulkner, Lawson, Southern Union, Gadsden and Wallace-Selma.
Following their home opener, JDCC will host Wallace-Hanceville on Thursday, August 29. The next day, JDCC will have their first away game as they will travel to Faulkner for a 6 p.m. game in Bay Minette.
JDCC will have eight games in September with only two being home. The Lady Warhawks will make up for their long list of road games in September in October as the team will play eight games in the month and will play six of them in Brewton.
