Tuesday crash injures five

Alabama State Troopers are continuing an investigation into a three-car crash along a stretch of U.S. 31 Tuesday night.

The crash was reported at 8:05 p.m. after three vehicles collided at the 73-mile marker just north of Brewton.

According to information from Sgt. Steven Jarrett with the Alabama State Troopers office, two drivers in the crash were injured in the crash. Three passengers — all in the same vehicle — were also injured in the incident.

Troopers say there were no fatalities and no life-threatening injuries were sustained by any of the victims in the crash.

The names of those injured were not released by officials. Other details were not available Wednesday morning.
