You can show your colors and donate to a good cause with the 2013 Tailgate and Donate Blood Drive to be held Monday, Oct. 21, at D.W. McMillan Hospital.

The annual competition comes ahead of this year’s Battle of Murder Creek between T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal.

The school that scores the most donors will win bragging rights and a prize of $1,000 and 10 cases of copy paper.

“We’re treating donors to hot dogs, chips, soda and a free OneBlood Halloween T-shirt,” said Jason Daniel, marketing and public affairs coordinator for the hospital.

Donors may also enter into drawings for additional prizes that will include gift certificates, local store items and other items from Brewton area merchants.
