Mr. Wilbert McQueen

Mr. Wilbert McQueen, Jr., 61, of Evergreen died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Mr. McQueen graduated from the Conecuh County School District and was owner/operator of his own 18-wheel truck until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia-McQueen-Dean.
He is survived by his parents, Wilbert and Theodocia McQueen, Sr. of Castleberry; his children, Warner Valiant, Tanesha Valiant, Pershell “Mi Mi” Madison, ShaQuella Spears and Tavarrus Spears; his brothers, Jimmie (Mary) McQueen, Eddie (Melva) McQueen, Roderick (Cathleen) McQueen, and Dale McQueen; a sister, Susan Matthews; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces; Linda Faford and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel of Evergreen with the Rev. Bruce McCreary officiating, with the Rev. Grover Brown, Eulogist.
