A Saturday morning wreck killed a driver in Escambia County, state troopers said.

The single-vehicle crash Saturday morning, Nov. 23, claimed the life of a New York woman.

Linda H. Reed, 65, was killed when the 2003 Ford Explorer she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, troopers said.

The crash occurred at 11:55 a.m. on Interstate 65 three miles south of Poarch.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
