Marianne “Susie” Leggett

Mrs. Marianne “Susie” Leggett, age 58, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, in a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Leggett was born in Chicago, IL and had been a long time resident of the Brewton area, coming from Santa Rosa County, Fla.  She was homemaker and was a member of Brewton First Baptist Church where she participated in “Happy Hearts.”  She was also active in “Motivators For Christ.” Mrs. Leggett was preceded in death by her parents, Rhett and Carol Franklin; two brothers, Michael Monroe Franklin and Charles John Franklin; and a daughter-in-law, Selena Leggett.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mr. Dale A. Leggett of Brewton; two sons, Chris Leggett of Brewton, and David “Andy” (Fallon) Leggett of Brewton; one brother, Randolph Franklin of Bartow, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Palmer of Bartow, Rose Marie Dollar of Smith Station; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts and the Rev. John Finklea officiating.  Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
