Brewton police are continuing an investigation in apparent acts of vandalism discovered Christmas morning.

Lt. Brock Holt with Brewton Police Department said officers on patrol discovered the broken windows just after 5 p.m. Dec. 25.

“We are continuing our investigation into the broken windows found at four locations in the Sowell and Blacksher Street area,” Holt said. “We are hoping that someone will come forward with some information about the incidents.”

Holt said investigators with the department are searching through any available video to help track down the responsible parties in the case

“We had windows in four buildings that were broken,” Holt said. “We are hoping that we uncover some video or other evidence that will help us find who is responsible.”

Windows on the Sowell Street side of the Alabama Department of Probation and Parole were broken in addition to windows at the offices of the Escambia County Department of Human Resources, law offices of Everette Price and the old Liberty National Insurance building along Blacksher Street.
Anyone with information concerning the incident is asked to contact the Brewton Police Department at 867-3231.
