JDCC softball’s losing streak grows to seven after being swept by PSC Tuesday

The hitting woes continued for the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team Tuesday at home as they were swept by Pensacola State College. JDCC lost game one 13-0 and game two 5-0 to fall to 2-10 overall. The losses were JDCC’s sixth and seventh straight losses.
In game one JDCC had one hit to PSC’s 11 hits in the 13-run loss. In game two, JDCC had three hits while PSC had six.
In the game one loss, PSC scored nine runs in the first inning to propel them to the win. PSC added one in the second and three in the third while holding the Lady Warhawks scoreless.
In the second game, JDCC was once again held scoreless while PSC scored one run in the fifth, and two each in the sixth and seventh innings.
No other stats or information from the game was known as of press time.
JDCC will play in the LBW Round Robin Saturday in Andalusia. The Lady Warhawks will play at Huntingdon on Saturday, March 1 before returning home on Wednesday, March 5, to face off against Chattahoochee Valley. Game time is set for 1 and 3 p.m. in Brewton.
