Youth sports: Teams get recent wins in games played in East Brewton

EB Dodgers softball 6, Brewton Lady Rebels 4
In a 10U softball game in East Brewton, the Dodgers upended the Lady Rebels of Brewton 6-4.
Jailyn Bondurant and Madison White pitched in the win for the Lady Dodgers and combined to allowed four runs on three hits, walked one and struck out eight.
At the plate for the Dodges, Teressa Harris and Nekeshia Smith both had one single each.
For the Lady Rebels, Jennings Ruzic pitched in the loss and allowed six runs on two hits, walked eight and struck out seven.
Courtland Salter, Kate Najor and India Dees had one hit each.

Brewton Braves 4, EB Mariners 1
In 10U baseball, the Brewton Braves handed the East Brewton Mariners a 4-1 loss.
Cole Kelly pitched in the win for the Braves and allowed one run on four hits, walked two and struck out eight. Walker Hoomes and Jordan Crane pitched in the loss for the Mariners as they allowed four runs on two hits, walked four and struck out 13.
For the Braves at the plate, Kyle Blevins and London Mallard both had a single each.
Jordan Crane had two singles while Caleb Peters and Walker Hoomes had a double each.

EB Royals 1, EB Mets 0
In a pitchers duel in 12U baseball, the EB Royals edged out the EB Mets 1-0.
Jennings Hobbs pitched the shutout win for the Royals as he allowed no runs on two hits, walked three and struck out 13.
Dylan Ingram countered on the mound for the Mets as he allowed one run on two hits, walked one and struck out 10.
Hobbs had two singles for the Royals in the win and scored the lone run while Caleb Sexton had two singles for the Mets.

Brewton Rangers 10, EB Mariners 4
The East Brewton Mariners were handed another loss as they dropped a 10-4 game to the Brewton Rangers.
Devin Smith earned the pitching win for the Rangers of Brewton as he allowed four runs on four hits, walked two and struck out 12.
Jaxson Flores had two singles and a double at the plate for the Rangers while Kannan Carter, Smith and Kobe Curry both had a single each. Bodie Hardy added a triple while Nathan pate had a single and a double.
For the Mariners, Jordan Crane pitched in the loss and allowed 10 runs on nine hits, walked five and struck out 13.
Crane had a single and a double while Gavin Leggett and Walker Hoomes both had a single each.

Brewton Red Sox 20, EB Royals 4
The Brewton Red Sox cruised their way to a 20-4 win over the EB Royals last week in East Brewton in 12U baseball.
The Red Sox of Brewton pounded out 20 runs on 12 hits while the Royals had four runs on three hits. The Royals made seven errors in the loss.
Stone Martin pitched in the win for the Red Sox as he allowed four runs on three hits, walked three and struck out five.
Martin had two singles and a two triples in the win while Whitley Lisenby added three singles and Will Adams had two singles.
McGowin Bethea added a single while Landon Sims had a double. Wyn Brittain chipped in a triple in the win.
For the Royals, Paxton Scurlock, Bradley Lowery, and Jacob Bondurant all pitched in the loss and combined to allow 20 runs on 12 hits, walked 11 and struck out three.
At the plate for the Royals in the loss, Scurlock had a double and a triple while Bondurant had a single.

Brewton Rangers 20, EB Braves 0
Another Brewton team plated 20 runs as the Rangers blanked the EB Braves 20-0.
Kobe Curry and David Peace combined to pitch a no-hitter on the mound for the Rangers as they allowed no runs, no hits, walked eight and struck out four in the 20-run win.
Konner Wood and Dakota Rose pitched for the Braves and allowed 20 runs on 10 hits, walked 10 and struck out seven.
For the Rangers at the plate, Flores had a triple and two singles. Curry added a single and a triple while Peace had a single.
Devin Smith had a double along with Kannan Carter who also had a triple in the win. Bodie Hardy added a double in the win for the Rangers. The Braves made 12 errors in the loss.

Brewton Lady Rebels 7, EB Athletics 6
Thursday night in East Brewton, the Lady Rebels edged the Athletics 7-6.
Courtland Salter earned the pitching win for the Lady Rebels as she allowed six runs on four hits, walked three and struck out 12.
Salter added a single at the plate for the Lady Rebels in the win while Caroline Williamson added two singles.
For the Athletics, Ashley Wyatt pitched in the loss and allowed seven runs on three hits, walked nine and struck out 14.
Natalie Wyatt had a single in the loss while Kendal Carpenter added two singles and Sydney Aaron had a single.

EB Mets 4, Brewton Red Sox 3
In 12U baseball Thursday in East Brewton, the EB Mets downed the Brewton Red Sox 4-3 despite having only one hit in the win.
Dylan Ingram earned the pitching win for the Mets as he allowed three runs on five hits, walked two and struck out seven.
Caleb Sexton had a single for the Mets’ lone hit.
For the Red Sox, Stone Martin and Landon Sims pitched in the loss and allowed four runs on one hit, walked three and struck out 10.
Wyn Brittain, JD Hartin, Martin and Brandon Smith all had hits for the Red Sox in the loss.
Brittain and Hartin had a single each while Martin added a double and Smith had two singles.
