Bostic, O’Connor to wed

Mr. David Bostic of Mobile and Ms. Wendy Golson of Brewton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Rebecca Bostic, to Joshua Dale O’Connor, son of Tim and Vickie O’Connor of Ashville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joel and Betty Bostic of Spanish Fort and Danny and Jenny Golson of Evergreen.

She is a 2008 graduate of T.R. Miller High School and earned an associate of science degree from Jefferson Davis Community College. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biology and secondary science education from Auburn University and will graduate in December. She plans to become a schoolteacher.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Sarah and the late J.D. O’Connor of Centre and the late George and Joanne Williams of Ashville.
He is a 2008 graduate of Ashville High School. In 2013, he earned his bachelor of mechanical engineering and a minor in business from Auburn University, graduating cum laude. He is currently employed as a project engineer at Calera Gas LLC in Montevallo.
The couple plans to wed on Aug. 10, 2014.
