Davis scored 46 for WSN’s varsity in win at Florala

W.S. Neal’s B-team and varsity boys claimed road wins Friday at Florala while the Lady Eagles suffered a loss.
In B-team action, the Eagles improved to 2-1 overall this season with a 26-14 win while the varsity moved to 3-2 overall with a 63-50 win. The Lady Eagles lost (no score or stats known as of press time) to fall to 2-3 overall.
In B-team action, Marvin Maddox led with 13 points and DeRon Smith had six. Keaton Yuhasz had three and Brandon Conway had two along with Bryce Booker.
In varsity action, TyShawn Davis poured in 46 points just four shy of Florala’s team score.
Davis added seven rebounds, six steals, and to assists along with going 2-for-3 from the free throw line.
DJ Hodges added five points, two rebound, one steal, and one assists while going 3-for-16 from the line.
Troy Lewis had four points and five rebounds while Treylon Watson had four points, five rebounds, seven steals, and three assists.
Dalton Shell chipped in four points and had one steal and one assists while Malcolm Hawthorne had one rebound and three steals. Jacolbey Hawthore added one steal while Andre Womack had one rebound in the win.
