Wallace-Selma hands JDCC basketball third straight loss

Jefferson Davis Community College’s Warhawk basketball team suffered their third straight loss Thursday in Selma as Wallace-Selma almost scored 100 points on the Warhawks as they handed JDCC a 92-56 loss.
Selma jumped on JDCC early and often as they led the Warhawks by 20 points at the half, 38-18. In the second half, Selma outscored JDCC by 16 points, 54-38, to claim the win by 36 points.
Keenan Williams led the Warhawks with 24 points while Adrian Rich added 16. Zollie Johnson added seven points while Brandon Davis had four, Fletcher Forte had three and Darren Wilson had two points.
Forte led with eight total rebounds in the loss while Ty’Qwan Bonner and Williams led with three assists each. Williams led in the loss with two steals while Davis led with two blocks.
JDCC made 27 turnovers in the loss.
With the loss, the Warhawks fell to 3-10 overall and to 1-4 in conference play.
