TRM’s Lady Tigers defeat Georgiana

T.R. Miller’s Lady Tigers were the lone TRM team to come away with a win Tuesday night at home. The Lady Tigers took down Georgiana 57-41 to move to 15-10 overall this season.
TRM led Georgiana 10-4 after one quarter and followed that with a 15-6 advantage in the second quarter to claim a 25-10 lead at the half.
In the third quarter, Georgiana outscored the Lady Tigers 18-11 to cut TRM’s lead to 36-28 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, TRM pulled away with a 21-12 run to claim the win by 16 points.
TRM had only five scorers score in the win, but four of the way put up double figures.
Kyla Bell led in the win with 16 points followed by 13 points from Mekiah Williams. Steely Ruzic and Shae Nicholson both tallied 10 points each while Morgan Longmire chipped in eight points.
