An accident between an Escambia County school bus and a Volvo SUV Friday remains under investigation, East Brewton Police Chief Kenny Brazile said Tuesday.
The wreck occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 41 and Neal Street in East Brewton. The Volvo had Pennsylvania license plates, and it is believed the car struck school bus No. 04-05.
The school bus number was No. 04-05.
Sgt. William Mosley with the East Brewton Police Department worked the wreck Friday.
“Some kids were complaining of pain,” Mosley said. “Mostly were just shook up. There were no extensive injuries.”
Larry Lambeth, transportation director with EC schools said four students off the bus were taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The bus driver was uninjured, as was the driver of the Volvo.
