Fuqua earns BMS post

Brewton Middle School will start the next school year with a new assistant principal and literacy coach after the school board hired Leah Fuqua Monday.
Fuqua will take over for Madelyn Cave who was recently named BMS principal following the retirement of current principal Carrie Brown at the end of the school year.
During the meeting, the board also approved the resignation of Margaret Herbert, Brewton Elementary School custodian.
