TRM coaching jobs to be filled soon?

With the stepping down of T.R. Miller softball and volleyball head coach Greg White, there are currently three open coaching positions at TRM and one open slot at Brewton Middle School.
Open slots at TRM consist of volleyball and softball as White served as head coach of both. The TRM baseball position is open after Jim Hart retires at the end of the school year.
At BMS, Hart took over the reigns of head football coach after Gerald McAnally left last year.
“We are working on it now,” TRM athletic director Jamie Riggs said of the open positions. “With (Coach) Greg (White) (stepping down) it kind of adds another piece of wood to the fire here a little bit.
“We haven’t decided anything yet, but we are working on this as far as all the coaching positions go. Hopefully we can get something worked out here by the time school gets out and we can get some things done.”
Riggs said with summer activities and workouts fast approaching he wants to act as quickly as he can coaching wise because so many teams are active in the summer. “Volleyball and softball have things they will do in June,” Riggs said. “The same thing with middle school football and right now we don’t have a middle school football coach.
“So, we have got all of this about to take place, so we need to act as quickly as we can.”
