A Riverview man remains behind bars after he allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor and sexted her pornographic images.

Chief Deputy Mike Lambert said Tuesday that 20-year-old Shane Austin Kiser is facing two counts of distribution of pornographic material, two counts of transmitting obscene material to a minor, rape II and sodomy II.

Lambert said the arrest came after a tip about the allegedly relationship was submitted to the sheriff’s office.

“This remains an ongoing case as it was reported that Mr. Kiser was involved with a minor female under the age of 16,” Lambert said. “That information was used to obtain a search warrant for his home, where deputies confiscated his cellphone, computer and other electronic devices.”

Lambert said those items were submitted for forensic testing at the state department of forensic science, where agents were able to recover the images.

Kiser remains in the Escambia County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
