United Bank opened its new location in Brewton on Mon., Nov. 14.

The new office, located at 821 Douglas Ave., will provide access for residents looking to buy, build or refinance their homes and owners looking to open or expand their small business. Consumers will also find convenient access to auto and personal lending options among the services provided at the new location.

“By expanding into the Brewton area, we hope to make it easier for our existing customers and those looking for new options and opportunities to do business with us. This expansion puts us on the path to providing full service banking across Escambia County,” said United Bank President and CEO, Robert R. Jones, III.

United Bank Community Business Lender Al Holley will lead the efforts in Brewton. Holley previously served United Bank’s Santa Rosa County market from the Jay, Fla. Office. Alex Jones, commercial/ag lender, will also be spending some hours at the Brewton office. Jones rejoined United Bank in March 2011 and is the primary contact for the bank’s New Market Tax Credit, USDA and SBA programs. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve, is President of the Atmore Lions Club, and is on the Atmore Area YMCA Board.
