Mr. Clinton Adar Nye, 73, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002 at his residence in Daphne. He was a native of Stockton and a resident of Daphne for many years. He was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Daphne. He was a retired truck driver for Thompson-Hayward Chemical Co. with over 30 years of service and he also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Nye Sr. and Ludenia Nye. He is survived by his wife, Grace B. Nye of Daphne; two sisters, Ethel Baker of New Castle, Del. and Rosetta Crawford of Dothan and two brothers, Prince Hazel Nye and Carlton Nye, all of Stockton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at Triumph Holiness Church in Stockton with Prince Hazel Nye and Rev. Ferry Nye officiating. Burial followed at Robinson Cemetery in Stockton with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
