Ms. Gladys Chancery, 82, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002 in a local hospital. She was a native of Baldwin County and had lived most of her life in the Pine View community. She was retired from Champion Paper Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, George L. and Martha P. Chancery and one son, Arthur Roland Chancery.
She is survived by three brothers, Marvin Chancery of Mobile, Donald Chancery of Pine View and Edward Chancery of Citronelle; one sister, Myrtle Miller of Pine View; a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parker and Rev. Homer Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Lottie Cemetery in Lottie with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Gene Chancery, Douglas Johnson, Robert Chancery, Aubrey Chancery, Glenn Johnson and Brandon Chancery.
