Mrs. Mamie Alice Judge, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 in a healthcare facility. She was a native of Stockton and a resident of Stockton for most of her life. She was a member of the Zion Fountain A.M.E. Zion Church and a member of various church organizations. She was a retired as a housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Judge Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Carrie Harvey and Barbara Bryant, both of Stockton; one son, Cleveland Judge Jr. of Bay Minette; four sisters, Serena Edwards of Stockton, Larcenia Fields of Detroit, Mich., Clara Calhoun of Tuskegee and Ruby Valrie of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Ernest Fields of Stockton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 4 from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at Zion Fountain A.M.E. Zion Church in Stockton with Rev. R.L. Dockery officiating. Burial will follow at Robinsonville Cemetery at Stockton with Turner Funeral Home directing.
