Mrs. Billie Maxine Ellis, 83, of Castleberry died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002 in a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Hinton, Okla., a former resident of Midland, Texas and a long time resident of Castleberry. She was a member of Castleberry Baptist Church and a retired secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Solomon Ellis Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Jane Murray of Trinidad, Texas and a sister, Louise Ivey of Clovis, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. W.T. Barnes officiating. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
