Rev. Hosea Lois Golden, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at an Atmore hospital after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, Ala. and was retired from T.R. Miller Mill Co. Creosote Plant Division. He was a member of the Pleasant Home Holiness Church where he pastored for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Watson Golden of Flomaton; two sons, Hosea Oliver Golden and Charles "C.H." Hagood Golden, both of Brewton; two brothers, Charles Golden and Dennis Golden, both of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Almeta McGowin of Brewton; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. G.W. Birdsong and Rev. Jim Parkerson officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Home Holiness Church Cemetery in Flomaton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
