Mr. Donald Ray Gafford, 66, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 in a local hospital. He was a native of McKenzie, Ala. and a resident of Wildfork. He was retired from Daniels Construction at Monsanto in Pensacola and he had served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Gafford of Century; two sons, Donnie Gafford of Jay, Fla. and Tony Gafford of Century; one brother, W.T. Gafford of Flomaton and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Raymond Wiggins and Brother Earl Green officiating. Burial followed at McCurdy Cemetery at Century with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Scottie Gafford, W.T. Gafford, Scotty Neal, Preston Hardy, Eudell Sheffield and Sammy White.
