Mrs. Ann Fowler Scott, 69, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002 in a local hospital. She was a native of Andalusia and had been a resident of Brewton since 1994 coming from Bay Minette. She was a homemaker and an active member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Frank L. Scott of Brewton; a son, Jeffrey Lloyd Scott of Durham, N.C.; two daughters, Fran Scott of Nashville, Tenn. and Susan Porch of Easton, Md. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Douglas Williams, Rev. Tom Butts and Rev. Floyd Enfinger officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Bobby Green, Douglas Finlay, Mike Carter, Hubbard Owens, Phillip Parker, Jim Stark, Lee Bain and Allen Stringfellow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 300 Vestavia Parkway #3500, Birmingham, Ala. 35216.
