Mrs. Marilyn Louise Greer, 48, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at her residence in East Brewton after an extended illness. She was a native of Houston, Texas and a long time resident of Escambia County. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Divine Temple Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Donald Rodrick.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Douglas Wesley Greer of East Brewton; her mother, Etta Louise Rodrick of Theodore, Ala.; two sons, Roderick Greer and Brian Greer, both of East Brewton; two brothers, Larry Rodrick and Richard Rodrick, both of Theodore; two sisters, Julie Brazell of Mississippi and Linda Stewart of Mobile and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Hand officiating. Burial followed at Douglas Chapel Church Cemetery at Damascus with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
