Mrs. Sallie Annell Watts Weaver, 85, of Century, Fla., died Nov. 28, 2002 after a long illness. She was a native of Escambia County, Fla., a 40 year resident of Whistler and resided in Century for the past 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Weaverl; two grandchildren, Daniel Todd Ryan and Danah Day Ryan; two brothers, Dalton Watts and John Earl Watts and a son-in-law, James Joseph Michael DiConcilio.
She is survived by her children, Charles E. Weaver of Biloxi, Miss., Shirley J. DiConcilio of Shalimar, Fla., Joe Ann Banks of Eight Mile, Ala., Carolyn L. Ryan of Anchorage, Alaska; six sisters, Ila Dee White, Ruth Fore, Wynetta Boutwell and Eudith Killam, all of the Flomaton area, Evelyn Dawson and Aileen Tubb; two brothers, Harold Watts and T.J. Watts of Gadsden; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore with Rev. Charles E. Weaver and Pastor Shelton Kindig officiating. Burial followed at Byrneville Methodist Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Tony Robert, Darrin Weaver, Arnold Weaver, John White, Tom Canter and Steve Killam. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Rex Fore, John Dawson, Jimmy Bell and Willie Lee Davis.
