Castleberry
Mr. Kevin Wendall Varner, 35, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002 at a Mobile hospital. He was a native of Evergreen and a long time resident of Castleberry. He attended Appleton Church of Christ and was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Dixie Chips. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chasity Cheyenne Varner.
He is survived by his parents, Homer and Eva Mae Varner of Castleberry; one brother, Ricky Allen Varner of Castleberry; one sister, Kathy Varner Crenshaw of Castleberry; his girlfriend, Beverly Holliman of Castleberry; her children, Brianna Holliman, Timothy Holliman and Rodney Holliman, all of Castleberry; grandmother, Earnestine Blair Hazlett of Castleberry; two nieces; two nephews and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Appleton Church of Christ with Rev. Ronald McCall officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
