Lady Tigers back on track

The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers got off the bus ready to play Thursday in Red Level jumping out to a 16-2 lead.
The visiting Lady Tigers then held Red Level scoreless in the second quarter for a 39-2 lead at the half.
In the second half, Red Level's Lady Tigers started to score but trailed 56-14 after three quarters of play.
In the final period, T.R. Miller was outscored 12-9 but had a big enough cushion to hold on for a 65-26 win.
Gabrielle DeRouen was the leading scorer for Red Level and the only player to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points. Victoria Ferrell had eight. Danielle DeRouen had four points. Sarina Stacey and Janaye Brown had two points each.
Ashley Samuel paced T.R. Miller with 26 points in the win. Joy McCorvey added 13 points and Jasmine Sanford had 10. Also scoring for T.R. Miller were Brittnee Malloyd (7), Asher Moore (4), Krystal Smith (3) and Keonshaye Lane (2).
